Welcome to Redbud Community Hospital Employees’ Association AKA RCHEA

RCHEA was formed in 1979. With the help of Michael Allen, Attorney, RCHEA became recognized to represent employees and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was agreed upon by Redbud Hospital and RCHEA.
 

Today Our MOU is updated through regular negotiations with management by our negotiations team and Michael Allen, Attorney. We continue these negotiations with Adventist Health for employees in our Lake County hospital and clinics with over 300 employees as members.
 

The RCHEA also provides Job Steward services to those members with work related issues and can represent employees during disciplinary meetings. Michael Allen, Attorney, continues to provide legal services to RCHEA during this process.

"If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined, terminated or affect my personal working conditions, I respectfully request that my Association Representative, Officer or Steward be present at this meeting.  Until my Representative arrives, I choose not to participate in this discussion."
